AP: Advanced Placement
This is an exam that is given to students who have taken the AP class. The first test is partially paid for, the rest of the tests have to be paid for by the student.

AP (Advanced Placement) exams will be administered on our school campus May 6 - May 17. Students who are taking AP exams have received a letter with detailed information about exam times, locations as well as exam day tips. Student attendance will be recorded as a School Activity for their testing period (“ACT” if parents are viewing attendance on the parent portal).
If students have a morning exam, they are to report to their testing location by 7:00 a.m. and should be done by 11:30 a.m. If students have a afternoon exam, they are to report to their testing location by 11:30 a.m. and should be done by 4:00 p.m.
If students prefer to ride the bus and be here for the entire day (for a morning exam), this is fine. If a student has an afternoon exam, he or she may ride the bus to school but will not be finished in time to ride the bus home and will need transportation. If parents choose for their child to be here only for the exam (due to study needs, fatigue, etc.), they are responsible for their own transportation, and students are not to be in the school halls before and after the exam.
Students will NOT be allowed to park on campus unless they have a valid CHHS student parking permit. Those students without a Collins Hill permit should make prior arrangements for drop off and pick up. Please contact Mrs. Nelson at (770) 682-4135 if you have any questions about the AP exam administration.
