Your will need a certificate of attendance along with your
ADAP card for your drivers license. (ADAP card or drug awareness card is
obtained in 9th grade when you take health.) GA LAW PROHIBITS the recognition
of any out-of-state ADAP courses. Teenagers must complete a Georgia ADAP
course prior to licensing. Once the student reaches their 18th birthday,
the ADAP course is no longer required prior to licensing.
-
ADAP Cards: Each student that takes health at Collins Hill participates in the Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program (ADAP), which is required by the state in order to receive a driver's license. If students pass the program, they receive a certificate printed out by their Health teacher.
Replacement ADAP certificates may be obtained from a student's Health teacher.
